🚂 Lake Street Railroad Crossing

The City is aware of concerns regarding the condition of the CSX railroad crossing on Lake Street and has been working to get the issue addressed.

Because the railroad crossing is owned and maintained by CSX, the City does not have the authority to make repairs to the crossing ourselves. We must rely on CSX to address its condition.

Residents can help by reporting the crossing directly to CSX. The more reports they receive, the more attention we hope the issue will receive.

*** UPDATE - THE ROAD IS OPEN THOUGH CREWS CONTINUE TO WORK ON RESTORING THE POWER - USE CAUTION TRAVELING IN THE AREA ***

⚠️ ROAD CLOSURE – LAKE STREET AT WEKO BEACH ⚠️

Lake Street at the entrance to Weko Beach is currently closed to pedestrian and vehicle traffic due to downed trees and power lines.

Please avoid the area. Crews are aware of the situation, and we will provide an update when the road has reopened.
