Today, your Bridgman Firefighters had the opportunity to assist a group of Bridgman High School students with a fun science experiment: How high can you drop an egg without scrambling it?

These young engineers put their creativity to work by designing protective capsules for their precious cargo—an egg. We then put their designs to the test by dropping them from our 100-foot ladder truck.

The students did an outstanding job and came up with some very impressive designs. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of this hands-on learning experience and help bring science and engineering to life!

This Memorial Day, the Bridgman Fire Department honors the brave men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our community, and our country. We stand in deep gratitude for their selfless service, and our hearts remain with the families they left behind. Let us pause to remember the true cost of our liberty and ensure their legacy is never forgotten.

As we enter EMS Appreciation Week, Bridgman Fire Department would like to thank every EMS worker for their tireless dedication to our community. Whether you are providing critical care in the field, comforting frightened families, or navigating emergency calls, your professionalism and compassion make a profound impact in our community! We are grateful for your sacrifices and grateful to work hand in hand with you on a daily basis.

We would like to take a moment to stand with our brothers and sisters in blue. Let’s take a moment to remember all those in law enforcement that have paid the ultimate sacrifice!

During National Police Week, we pause to honor and remember the courageous law enforcement officers who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to their communities.

These heroes answered the call to protect others, placing service above self and demonstrating extraordinary courage, dedication, and commitment to public safety. Their sacrifice will never be forgotten.

We also recognize the families, friends, and fellow officers who continue to carry the weight of that loss each day. This week serves as a reminder that the impact of service extends far beyond the badge.

The Michigan Association of Chiefs of Police proudly stands in remembrance of our fallen officers and in support of those who continue to serve with honor and professionalism across our state and nation.
