Bridgman Schools held the annual Bridgman Cross Country Invitational on August 25th.

Top runners for the boys were Ben Bolinder with a 5th place finish, Carson Ernsberger with a 12th place finish and Chance Salmon with a 13th place finish.

Top runners for the girls were Anna Howell with a first place finish, Kaylin Pinkowski with a 6th place finish and Caroline Conklin with a 9th place finish.

Congratulations to our Girls Cross Country Team for taking first place at the invitational.

Last week, our newest Bridgman Public Schools staff members spent two days learning, connecting, and preparing for the year ahead!

The group had an opportunity to get to know one another, tour our schools and community, and learn about Kagan Cooperative Learning from BPS teachers who are already putting these strategies into practice in their classrooms.

We’re excited to have this group joining our team and look forward to seeing the impact they’ll have on our students!

📚 A Head Start on a Great Year! 🐝

RMS and BHS ELA teachers reported early last week to begin learning about Bridgman Public Schools’ newly adopted MyPerspectives curriculum for Grades 6–12!

This research-based curriculum is grounded in the Science of Reading and features diverse, high-interest texts and media designed to build strong literacy skills, encourage meaningful discussion, and promote high levels of student engagement.

We appreciate our teachers investing their time before the school year begins to learn, collaborate, and prepare to bring these new resources to our students.

Great teaching starts with great learning—and our teachers are leading the way!

Bridgman Athletics are off to a strong start for the fall 2026 season. JV Volleyball competed in a Quad match with Buchanan, Berrien Springs and St. Joe for the first home event of the season. Our JV Volleyball players competed at a high level throughout their matches!

Congratulations to Bridgman High School on being recognized as a 2026-2027 U.S. News Best High School, ranking #630 out of 17,945 schools nationally and #20 out of 678 Michigan high schools!

This recognition reflects the outstanding work of our high school students and staff, as well as the work that begins long before students reach high school. It is a shared acknowledgment of our elementary and middle school staff who help prepare our students for success, and the families and community who support them along the way.
