Our sixth grade band students worked hard throughout the first quarter to learn and record “Donut Factory,” one of their first big musical accomplishments of the year!

After putting it all together, students celebrated their hard work with a well-earned popsicle party—which apparently meant four or more popsicles for some! 😄

It’s great to see our young musicians building their skills, working together, and having some fun along the way.

Great work, sixth grade band!

A huge congratulations to both our RMS boys and girls cross country teams, who captured regional championships in Bangor last night!

Winning on both sides is an outstanding accomplishment and a reflection of the hard work, determination, and teamwork these student-athletes have shown throughout the season.

Congratulations to our runners and coaches on a great night for Bridgman Cross Country!

It’s always a fun day when the Boomwhackers come out in RMS music class!

Students put rhythm, timing, and teamwork into action as they worked together to create music—and had plenty of fun along the way.

Our RMS Garden Club was busy last Tuesday putting their green thumbs to work!

Students planted new plants in our indoor nursery and helped clean up the garden beds around the main entrance.

It’s a great opportunity for students to work together, learn by doing, and take pride in making their school a more welcoming place.

RMS students brought a little Homecoming spirit into the classroom last week by putting their ELA skills to work with football-themed figurative language!

Students practiced identifying and interpreting different examples of figurative language while connecting their learning to the excitement of Homecoming week.

A fun way to make classroom learning relevant while celebrating school spirit!

Our RMS Chess Club had a full house today! Students of all ages and experience levels are welcome to join, whether they’re experienced players or just learning the game.

One of the best parts is watching our older and more experienced students step up to teach and mentor new players. Along the way, students are building strategy, problem-solving skills, and connections with one another.

A great example of students learning from students—and having a lot of fun doing it!

Our BHS Varsity Cheerleaders recently hosted a cheer camp for students in 2nd through 4th grade!

Each young cheerleader was paired with a high school mentor for the week as they practiced cheer skills, learned a dance routine, and participated in team-building activities. Beyond learning the fundamentals of cheer, the camp gave our younger students a chance to build relationships with BHS students and experience what it means to be part of the Bees community.

The week wrapped up under the Friday night lights, with our campers joining the varsity cheerleaders on the sidelines to cheer on the Bees!

Thank you to our varsity cheerleaders for being great mentors and role models for our younger students.

In celebration of the upcoming election, Bridgman students partnered with our local city government for an “I Voted” sticker design contest!

Students submitted creative and colorful designs, with 12 entries selected as official winners. The winning artwork will be printed and distributed at local polling locations, where voters will receive the student-designed stickers after casting their ballots.

It’s a great opportunity for our students to share their creativity with the community while learning about civic participation and the role each of us can play in our community.

Congratulations to our 12 student artists! We can’t wait to see your designs around Bridgman on Election Day!

Our AP Macroeconomics students brought the Circular Flow Model to life with a hands-on classroom activity!

Students took on the roles of households and businesses and participated in both resource and product markets. Businesses worked to generate the most profit, while households competed to obtain the goods they wanted.

The activity gave students a chance to experience how households, businesses, resources, goods, and money interact within an economy—taking an economic model off the page and putting it into action.
