Join this annual community reading program designed to spark meaningful conversations and connection through the power of storytelling.



Born and raised in Washington, Van Pelt’s luminous debut novel follows widow Tova Sullivan, who forms an unlikely friendship with a giant Pacific octopus reluctantly residing at the Sowell Bay Aquarium.
