On behalf of myself and the Village of Brighton, I would like to extend a sincere thank you to the Mississippi Valley Garden Club for the many plants and landscaping contributions they have generously donated to our community over the past few years.

Just last week, Paula Zugmaier and Kay Brands trimmed the rose bushes at the Welcome sign on the south end of town. While there, they also planted new flowers, including Stella D’Oro daylilies. In addition, they enhanced the North End Welcome sign by planting five Purple Japanese Iris and four Solid Gold daylilies. They also donated and planted two Kerria Japonica shrubs at Schneider Park.

We truly appreciate the time, effort, and generosity that the Mississippi Valley Garden Club continues to invest in our community. Their dedication helps make Brighton a more beautiful and welcoming place for residents and visitors alike.

I look forward to continuing our partnership with the Mississippi Valley Garden Club as we work together to further beautify our Village.
