Due to the heavy construction around our public safety complex, we have made the decision to move this year's Touch-A-Truck event back to the Green Oak Village Place Mall to allow for a better flow of traffic. Huge thank you to our friends at the mall for making space for us!

GOFD was requested by Howell Area Professional Firefighters early this morning for a 3 alarm commercial structure fire. Picture “borrowed” from DART (thank you!!)

Seen in the pic are crews in rehab which is where they’re sent typically after two cycles of work to rehydrate, cool down and give the body a little much needed break.

Green Oak Charter Township Fire Department would like to welcome Chief Matthew Lupo to our organization. Chief Lupo's first offical day was Monday, August 10th and it started off with several vehicle crashes, two mutual aid fires, and several other calls. Chief Lupo joins the department from Nolensville Tennessee, where he was the fire chief for the past year.

Impact: Intersection will be CLOSED to all thru traffic for this 24-hour period. Motorists urged to seek an alternate route.
