🚧 RAMP CLOSURE 🚧

The WB I-96 ramp to Grand River Ave. (Exit 145) will be closed Saturday, May 16th at 7AM and will re-open at 5PM. Traffic will be detoured to utilize Spencer Rd to Old US-23 to Grand River Ave.

This is not a school-sponsored event, but a tradition many students look forward to each year. Participants may be seen around neighborhoods and throughout the community using water guns as part of the game. You might notice more student activity, cars, and playful behavior as they try to “soak” each other in this organized, end-of-year fun.
While it’s all in good spirits, we want EVERYONE to be aware of what’s going on to avoid confusion or concern. Please keep an eye out and drive carefully—especially in residential areas—as kids may be out and about. Let’s help keep this a safe and fun experience for everyone!

It’s that time of year again, time to register for the 2026 Youth Camp!

This year’s Youth Camp will run from June 18th-June 25th! Cost is $100 for the entire 6 day camp! Youth ages 14-18 get to experience what it takes to be a police officer and/or firefighter.

It’s that time of the year again, when all roads in Michigan will be under construction 😑. With that being said, please see the below information from MDOT regarding lane and ramp closures along with traffic shifts! Please slow down, leave extra time to get where you’re going, and most of all be patient! Road construction, once complete, benefits all of us. Happy driving!

WB/EB I-96 at Grand River Ave. starts on Monday, March 2nd at 7:00AM and ends on Sunday, November 15th at 5:00PM.

🚧TRAFFIC SHIFT🚧
Traffic shift EB I-96 traffic shifted to WB I-96 starts Saturday, March 7th at 7:00AM and ends on Sunday, November 15th at 5:00PM.

🏗️RAMP CLOSURE🏗️
EB Grand River Ave ramp to EB I-96 total closure loop ramp starts Saturday, March 7th at 7:00AM and ends Sunday, November 15th at 5:00PM. Detour - traffic will be detoured to Hilton Road to Old US-23 to Spencer Road to EB I-96.

All dates are weather dependent!
