Calling all hairstylists!

The Brillion Housing Authority is looking for a hairstylist who may be interested in offering on site hair appointments at Heritage Apartments in Brillion 1–2 times per month for our elderly and disabled tenants.

The stylist would be able to set their own prices, choose the days and times that work best for them, and schedule appointments directly with the tenants. While the number of residents who utilize the salon space is small, there are several who would truly appreciate having someone come in on a consistent basis.

This is a meaningful way to serve the community. For many of our residents it is not just about getting a haircut. It is about feeling confident, cared for, and staying connected.

Here is a quick glimpse of some services provided through the ADRC in 2024.

We completed a total of 8,297 one-way trips, covering 231,665 miles! Our van drivers and volunteer drivers help our seniors and those with disabilities in Calumet County get to appointments and stay connected to the community.

Our nutrition program delivered 28,444 home-delivered meals and served 6,248 congregate meals. Collectively, meal site volunteers and Meals on Wheels delivery drivers contributed 7,705 hours of volunteer work.

🌟 Exciting News from the Brillion Housing Authority! 🌟

We are thrilled to announce that we are selling Garrow Villa CBRF, our cherished CBRF, to the wonderful couple Scott and Erica! 🎉 With their experience running four successful adult family homes in Green Bay, we believe they will do an amazing job continuing the legacy of care and compassion that Garrow Villa represents.

The sale will officially take place on Friday, November 1, 2024. While this transition is bittersweet for me, knowing that Garrow Villa is going to such a dedicated couple brings me so much joy. It has held a special place in my heart, and I’m excited to see it thrive under their leadership. Please join me in welcoming Scott and Erica to our community🤩
