Mini-golf meets the library!
Next Saturday, Mini-Golf at the Library takes over the Activity Room! From 10:00 am-1:00 pm on June 20th, you can drop in and play 9 holes of indoor mini golf—no registration required. Fun for all ages!

Get ready to meet nature’s tiny heroes! Forest Park Nature Center will host Pollination Station, a traveling naturalist program on Tuesday, June 16th, at 1:00 pm here at BPL. Kid’s Craft Night is upon us again this coming Monday at 5pm! Our theme is "Foodie Faces". We will cut, arrange, and glue pictures of food and veggies together to create portraits inspired by the works of Giuseppe Acrimboldo. Our latest Escape Room has proven to be quite popular! Solve the puzzles hidden among the plants and creatures of the garden to find the secret growth formula that will return you to normal size- so you can open the garden’s gate! You have 45 minutes to work together to escape the garden and win a special prize! Reserving a time slot is suggested, but you can drop in to check availability too! We welcomed a huge crowd for Friday’s Storm Science event! “Tornado Nick” delivered an engaging presentation covering tornadoes, thunderstorms, hail, and lightning, complete with hands-on demos for our brave volunteers. The grand finale was a spectacular giant cloud demonstration right in the library. Afterward, guests had the chance to explore his storm chaser truck up close and learn more about his real-life storm experiences and career. Many thanks to Tornado Nick and Storm Science for an unforgettable program!

Tonight we welcome Ken Zurski to Brimfield Public Library! Ken is a longtime broadcaster, author, and speaker, based out of Peoria, Illinois. A native of the Chicagoland area and a veteran of radio news, Ken released his first book, The Wreck of the Columbia, in 2012. Peoria Stories followed in 2014, and two Unremembered books, focusing on historical figures once famous, now forgotten. Ken resides in Morton, Illinois, with his wife Connie, two children, Sam and Nora, and dog Molly.

An Author's Journey: From Peoria to the History Channel with Ken Zurski begins at 6 pm tonight in our Activity Room. This is a free program for adults (18 and up) and no registration is needed. We hope to see you there!
