Community Notice: Memorial Motorcycle Run

The Brisbane Police Department is aware of a memorial motorcycle run planned for Friday evening, approximately 9:00–9:30 PM.

This is an annual event, and in previous years it has not resulted in any major issues. We understand that the sound and presence of a large motorcycle group may be alarming or disruptive to some residents.

Please rest assured that the motorcycles will enter Brisbane and then leave the city as part of the run. The route generally has gone through San Bruno Ave., Klamath St., and then Visitacion Ave. There is no need for residents to be alarmed as our officers will be out and monitoring the event.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as participants take part in this annual memorial ride. Thank you for helping us keep our community safe and informed.

Exciting news—the new school year is almost here! 🎒✨

A friendly reminder that the first day of school for Brisbane Elementary and Lipman School is Monday, August 19th.

Please use extra caution and drive slowly through school zones during school hours. Our Brisbane Police Department officers will be out monitoring traffic to keep our students and families safe.

Officer Msalam officially kicked off her field training program this week and will be hitting the streets with our experienced training officers over the next 4 months.

🐾 Teamwork Makes the Dream Work! 🐾

In the early morning hours of June 1st, the Brisbane Police Department teamed up with the South San Francisco Police Department to put a wrench in a catalytic converter theft that just occurred. SSFPD notified Brisbane that their suspect had fled from their city and into ours.

Our officers quickly searched the area, and Corporal Valencia located the suspect vehicle abandoned in the parking lot of a condominium complex. A sharp-eyed resident called in to report seeing three suspects flee from the car moments earlier.

With a perimeter established, Corporal Valencia with K9 Ringo, along with SSFPD Officers, immediately conducted a search of the area. K9 Ringo quickly alerted to someone hiding on a nearby walking trail. Two suspects were safely taken into custody by SSFPD. Unfortunately, the third suspect was not located.

A huge thank you to our observant resident. Your quick call helped narrow down where to search, allowing our teams to move in quickly and apprehend the suspects. This is a prime example of the community and police working together to keep our neighborhood safe.

We are proud of Corporal Valencia, K9 Ringo, and our night shift crew for their diligent work, and we deeply value our strong regional partnership with SSFPD. When neighboring agencies and the community look out for one another, criminals don’t stand a chance!
