Thank you for sending your deposits and information sheets. It was great to read all the family and friend relationships that have been at Camp Wulamat for 40, 50, 60 and 70 years. It is appreciated that you took the time to tell us about your families, your love for camp, requests for additional weeks and suggestions.
It is with great disappointment that the Memorial Day Work Weekend is canceled this year due to the Coronavirus. Over the past few years this weekend has grown in participation, a fun time and a big help in preparation for opening. Helen’s memorial service will be postponed and a date will be announced to the entire camp community when it is decided.
In an effort to keep camp clean and safe, we request that there be no visitors at this time.
A request – As you may remember, Helen would take the Christmas pictures received each year and make a collage, displaying it in the rec hall. At this time, we cannot locate Helen’s Christmas cards among her things. If you have an extra Christmas picture and would like to send another copy, we would like to keep the tradition going. If you would like to send pictures, mail to Camp Wulamat, PO Box 329, Lyme, NH 03768.
We expect to provide our campers with our plan for managing Camp during the pandemic that keeps the safety of our campers and long-term stability of Camp paramount, but must be consistent with all government requires. We plan to update you about summer opening details in the next couple weeks when we have better information from the State of NH.
Thank you for your continued patience and support at this difficult time. We are so grateful for this community that has formed around our beloved Camp.
