Starting Tuesday, July 14, Barnes Nature Center will open:
Tuesday-Saturday 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
Sunday: 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm

***BARNES UPDATE***
Due to the severe weather this past weekend, Barnes will remain closed today and tomorrow, while we complete parking lot maintenance and continue work on our nature trails. We look forward to welcoming visitors back during our regular Visitor Center hours beginning Thursday. We will keep you updated on trail maintenance.

*****BNC Storm Notice*****
Due to last nights severe weather, all hiking trails at the Barnes Nature Center are closed until further notice because of downed trees.
The Visitor Center will also be closed due to power outage.
Thank you for your understanding and patience while staff and volunteers assess and clear the damage.

Due to rain delaying our Parking lot resealing project, our Parking lot and hiking trails WILL BE CLOSED to all visitors on July 6-7 while the work is completed.

**Trail Update at Barnes Nature Center**
The tree that had fallen across the accessible trail and blocked the boardwalk section has been cleared, and the trail is now fully open.

We would like to thank our dedicated volunteers, Bill P. And Tony for their hard work and willingness to lend a hand to help our Executive Director Scott, safely clear the trail and restore access for all visitors!
