We are always looking to return animals to their homes and adopt the ones we have in the shelter!! This page is for the purpose of providing information to owners of lost pets and providing forever homes to those animals who are not reclaimed. All animals impounded by Animal Control are held for 5 days not including day of intake (with no identification) or 10 days not including day of intake (wi

th any type of identification). Animals can be reclaimed at Bristol Animal Care and Control 275 Shakesville Rd. Bristol, VA 24201. 276 645-3714.

We are trying to find the owner of this handsome male German Shepherd who was found on Lee Highway near the Exit 7 Hardee’s. He was wearing a black harness and had a green leash attached when he was found.

Hello, friends!

With kitten season in full swing, our shelter is caring for more hungry little mouths than ever before. These tiny purr machines may be small, but they can certainly eat! We are currently running low on wet cat food and could use your help.

Every can donated goes directly toward feeding kittens and cats in our care while they wait for their forever homes. ❤️

Today, we want to extend our sincere gratitude to Sean Massey for not only opening his heart and home to Dobby, but also for his incredible generosity toward the animals in our care.

Sean’s donation paid the adoption fees for every dog currently in our shelter, helping remove barriers and giving more dogs the opportunity to find loving forever homes.

Acts of compassion like this remind us how fortunate we are to live in a community filled with caring, selfless people who truly make a difference. Dobby has found a wonderful home, and many other shelter dogs now have a better chance at finding theirs because of Sean’s kindness.
