The Bucks County Fire Service has lost a good one.

It is with great sadness that we announce the Line of Duty Death of Life Member, Ed Margavich. In addition to being a member with our department (GWHCO Station52), Ed was a Life Member of Third District Fire Co., Station 14 where he was past chief and remained active with their Fire Police unit up to his passing.
We offer our sincere condolences to the Margavich family, Third District Fire Co. and the Bristol Township Fire Police Unit.

Sam we are all very proud of you and the dedication you have to the citizens of Bristol.

BBFA is proud to announce Firefighter/ Paramedic, Sam Watson of Station 51 was honored as "Employee of the Month" by the Philadelphia Phillies. Congratulations Sam from all of the members of the BBFA.

Today 41 years ago, Bristol Fire Company Assistant Fire Chief Julian Bley was killed in the line of duty. He was electrocuted while moving a ground ladder while operating at an arson fire at the Purex plant on Radcliffe St in the early morning hours.. He was a great leader and had a significant impact on Goodwill Hose Company #3 (Chief) and Bristol Fire Company (Chief and President) that remains today.
