BBFA Water Rescue Response

During last nights storms we were alerted for 2 vehicles stuck in floodwater, underneath the Green Lane Railroad Bridge. Water Rescue Assets responded quickly, however the drivers self extricated prior to our arrival.

We would like to take this time to remind everyone not to drive through flooded roadways. Turn around, don’t drown!

BBFA Responds to Domestic Rescue

On Friday, BBFA Volunteers were alerted for a Domestic Rescue in Station 52’s local. The rescue was reported as an individual with a finger caught in a couch. Once on scene, crews found that the individual had his finger caught in the mechanism of a couch when loading it into the rear of a garbage truck. Quick actions by our firefighters resulted in quick stabilization and extrication. The individual was treated and released from a local hospital the same day.
