S.R. 15 to close in Bristol for drain, pipe, and pavement construction.

INDOT project moving to phase 3 Monday August 31

South Division Street (SR 15 S) from the proximity of the RR crossing to the intersection at Vistula will be closed. Lane restrictions will be implemented at the intersection of Division and Vistula, slowing traffic movement.

No access across South Division Street in the construction zone will be allowed.

Access to Mancino’s and Bailey’s will be from Elkhart and St. Joseph Streets using Ponderosa instead of S. Division Street. Or from Charles using Main Street.

This phase is scheduled to be completed in late November. 20 days are allocated to construct stormwater infrastructure.

Construction on E Vistula (Main Street) between the two stoplights will be substantially complete Tuesday or Wednesday of next week.

Congdon Park Parking Lot Closure –
Tuesday, August 25 & Wednesday, August 26

The main asphalt parking lot at Congdon Park will be closed Tuesday & Wednesday as we complete maintenance that will help extend the life of the parking lot and improve the visitor experience.

✔️ Crack filling to protect the pavement
✔️ Seal coating to preserve the asphalt
✔️ Fresh parking striping for improved visibility and safety

The north parking lot will remain open for anyone visiting the park during this time.

Thank you for your patience as we make these improvements to keep Congdon Park looking its best! We'll share photos of the finished project once the work is complete.

Yes, the bridge is closed, but our downtown businesses are OPEN and ready to welcome you. A detour is all it takes to enjoy food and a fun evening of FREE entertainment while supporting the businesses that have weathered months of construction.

Parking
Parking is available along Charles Street, at KeyBank (after 5:30 PM), Bristol Community Church, and the Town Hall parking lot - all just a short walk from tonight's events!

♿ ADA Parking Available
To help make the event accessible for everyone, ADA parking will be available in front of Chicago's Pizza. Enter from Vistula (main street) and turn north onto Apollo Street (The Tool Shed).

A special thank you to Rieth-Riley Construction and our Bristol Street Department for working together to make this parking area available so everyone can enjoy tonight's events.
