Liberty County 4-H Sewing Day Camp! Day 1 we learned how to use the sewing machine and the basic of sewing. Sew machine safety and set-up. How to thread a sewing machine.

Then we cut and prep our materials for making a 4-H pin Flag. With Ms. Christina Bold and Jade Lowery. Leather making bracelets and key chains with Malec Carpenter.

Had lunch with Mrs. Marie Arick, walking Tacos and they were so good. Ice Cream for dessert. Played games and had so much fun.

Day 2. Started out reviewing about the sewing machine setup and making sure we knew the importance of taking our time and sewing a straight line. We made draw string bags, we also learned how to do finger knitting and a few finished their scarfs.
Ms. Christina, Mrs. Marie, Jade and Malec did a really good job teaching all the projects today.

Today’s lunch was the good old fashioned Hungry Howie’s and dessert was more delicious ice cream.

Tomorrow will be another fun day so stay tuned.
