In Loving Memory of Juan Cuadrado Jr.

It is with heavy hearts that we pay tribute to a remarkable individual, Juan Cuadrado Jr., who left us far too soon. Juan joined MR Home Care on March 3, 1993, and from that day forward, he dedicated himself wholeheartedly to the well-being of the seniors in our community.

Juan’s passion for his work was evident in everything he did. He cared deeply for his clients, going above and beyond to ensure their comfort and happiness. His unwavering commitment to providing exceptional care was an inspiration to all who had the privilege of working alongside him. Even through his own sickness, Juan never wavered in his dedication. He continued to care for his clients, demonstrating an extraordinary strength and resilience that truly embodied the spirit of a caregiver. He worked to the very last minute, fighting a good fight of faith, and reminding us all of the power of compassion and dedication.

As we remember Juan, we celebrate not only his contributions as a caregiver but also the extraordinary person he was. He touched the lives of many and will be missed dearly by his clients, colleagues, and everyone who had the chance to know him.

We are grateful for the time we shared with him and will honor his legacy by continuing the work he loved so much. Juan Cuadrado Jr. will forever remain in our hearts. Thank you, Juan, for everything. You were truly a special person.

Looking for valuable resources, great information, and a chance to connect with organizations dedicated to supporting older adults and caregivers?

Join us this Saturday, July 18, from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM at the Hartford Public Library – Downtown Library (Center for Arts & Culture, 500 Main Street, Hartford).

This free community event will feature:

✅ AARP Connecticut Fraud Network presentation: "The Scam Landscape & Staying Safe" (11:00 AM – 12:00 PM)
🧘 Yoga session (12:00 PM – 12:45 PM)
🤝 Meet local organizations offering services and resources
🎁 Raffles and refreshments
💬 Information for seniors, caregivers, families, and community members

Transportation assistance is available if needed. Registration is appreciated but not required.

A special thank you to M.R. Home Care, UConn Health Disparities Institute, Know Thy Neighbor, and the Hartford Public Library for making this event possible.
