📸🏙 It’s Throwback Thursday with Michael, longtime volunteer at the ECHM! Today, we’re examining a John Inbody photograph of the surface car terminal on South Main Street between Franklin Street and Marion Street (looking southward toward the Marion Street intersection) in downtown Elkhart, Indiana, during the year 1910. Streetcar route signs on the cars included Beardsley and Jefferson. The Bucklen Opera House was in the background at the Harrison Street intersection. Michael captured the second image of the cityscape as it appears in more recent times.

Are you facing grief or supporting a grieving friend? Consider joining us at the Grief Walk - Tuesday, October 13, 5-7pm at Ox Bow County Park.

Sometimes words are difficult to find when we are grieving. Art can provide another way to express what is in our hearts.

During the Grief Walk, participants will have the opportunity to visit an Art Station where they can slow down, create, reflect, and express their feelings through art.

Whether you choose to create something in memory of someone you love or simply take a quiet moment for yourself, this station is about finding your own way to process and remember.

- Grief Walk: Loss & Remembrance
- Tuesday, October 13
- 5:00–7:00 p.m.
- Ox Bow County Park – Lower Fields
- Free public event

Join us for an evening of remembrance, reflection, and connection.
