On September 1st @ 5:00 PM, in room 1-1 of Bristol City Hall, the Ordinance Committee will be reviewing the red light camera ordinance, for potentially revising a request from the Police Commission to remove the working of “Speed Cameras” from the ordinance. We will not be discussing flock cameras or speed cameras, because they are not part of the ordinance and will not be part of the public comments. If you would like to speak about red light cameras, you will have 2:00 minutes to speak during the public comments peat of the meeting.

Please remember what goes into and what doesn’t go into recycling.

Today, after recycling pickup, our employees found a propane and air tank inside the recycling building.

Items like this can pose a serious safety hazard. A tank that is pressurized or improperly disposed of could explode, cause a fire, or seriously injure or even kill someone.

Our employees come to work expecting to go home safely. Please take a moment to learn what does NOT belong in your recycling bin and properly dispose of hazardous or pressurized containers through the appropriate channels. Please DO BETTER!

Your recycling is not worth someone’s life.
