Tonight I stand here incredibly humbled and grateful. To every single person who showed up, believed in this campaign, and cast a vote, thank you. Your support, your encouragement, and your trust mean more to me and my family than I can truly put into words. This victory belongs to all of us. I also want to speak directly to those who may have voted differently. I hear you. I respect you. I want you to know this clearly, I am your commissioner too. Elections can bring out strong opinions and deep passion and that is a good thing. It means people care about our community. But now that the votes have been counted, it is time to come together. The campaign is over, the work is just beginning. My commitment moving forward is simple. I will listen. I will work. I will represent everyone. No matter your background, your beliefs, or how you voted, you deserve to be heard and to have someone fighting for you. I take that responsibility seriously and I will give this role everything I have. This community is stronger when we work together, not as opponents but as neighbors. We all want safe communities, strong schools, opportunities for our families, and a future we can be proud of. Those are goals we share and those are the goals I will fight for every single day. Thank you again for placing your trust in me. I am honored to serve and I am ready to get to work for all of you.
