BPS is aware of a social media threat affecting multiple schools statewide. Law enforcement determined the post originated in the UK. The Bristow Police Dept is actively patrolling our campuses. The safety of our students and staff is our top priority, and we will share updates if any additional information becomes available.

Practicing different safety drills, help students and staff know what to do during an emergency. Regular practice builds confidence reduces confusion and helps keep everyone safe. We are also very fortunate at BPS to have our own security officer on duty throughout the school day, helping ensure the safety of our students and staff. 💜💛🏴‍☠️

Power Outage Update:

Phone Service: District-wide phone lines are currently down. We are working to restore service as quickly as possible.

Power Outage: Edison, Edison ECC, and Home Alone are currently without power. Collins, Middle School, and High School still have full power.

Student Early Pickup: Parents may pick up students early from Edison, Edison ECC, and Home Alone. Students at Collins, MS, and HS should remain at school for regular schedule.

⚠️ EDISON and ECC POWER OUTAGE ⚠️

The electricity is currently out at the lower elementary school sites, Edison , Edison ECC and Home Alone, which means those phones and other forms of communication are not working at this time. The other school sites including Collins and the MS/HS are NOT affected.

If you would feel more comfortable picking up your child that attend these sites, you may do so. Please be patient with our staff as we work through dismissal without our normal communication systems.

We will share updates as soon as we are able. Thank you for your patience and understanding! 💜💛

Your help in following the designated traffic patterns helps keep our students safe while making drop-off and pick-up as smooth and efficient as possible!
