We’re joining Jacob Towe, a grieving Kellyville dad, in turning heartbreak into hope through Leo’s Law—a proposed Oklahoma law named after his 3-year-old son, Leonardo, who tragically died after ingesting fentanyl. Leo’s Law would require parents or guardians with a known history of fentanyl exposure to undergo drug testing before taking in a child, aiming to prevent future tragedies like Leo’s  .

If Leo’s story touches your heart, you can make a difference: stop by the Bristow C.A.R.E.S. Fest on Saturday, September 6 and sign the petition in support of Leo’s Law. Let’s stand together to protect Oklahoma’s children and honor Leo’s memory.

Our next community event is Saturday, September 6 from 10-2 at the Chuck West Fieldhouse. This is a 100% free event and open to anyone. Come meet the people behind the programs! We have many agencies offering many resources: mental health, pregnancy care, addiction treatment and recovery, social service, education and employment opportunities.

This year, I am excited that we will have representation from the INCOG Area Agency on Aging whose services include transportation, information and assistance, in-home services, legal assistance, and senior nutrition services, to name a few.

We will offer a free light lunch and many give-aways.

Everyone is welcome. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn what resources are available for you, or for family and friends.
