Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department serving Prince William County. We operate out of two locations: Station 5 in Nokesville and Station 25 in Bristow.

Since 1946, the Nokesville Volunteer Fire & Rescue Department has been proudly serving Nokesville, Bristow, Prince William County, and our neighboring communities. Our department is made up of more than 140 volunteers serving as Firefighters, EMTs, Business Members and Auxiliary Members

🍋 Earlier this evening, Nokesville Volunteer Fire Department’s Ambulance and Truck Company 25 crews stopped by a local lemonade stand to support some of the community’s young entrepreneurs before school begins again on Monday! While a cup of fresh squeezed lemonade was only $1, tours were free and the excited smiles were priceless! Thanks for the refreshments!

We were out and about tonight supporting multiple National Night Out (NNO) Events! Engine 525B joined the NNO convoy through New Bristow Village and Engine 525 was displayed at NNO Event in the townofhaymarketva! Thank you to our community partners for always including us! 🚨🚒

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who volunteered, donated, and supported our blood drive. Thank you to Red Cross for partnering with us to host a blood drive at our station.

We collected 26 units of blood, which will help save countless lives in our community. All Power Red Units went directly to a local NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit).

⛈️ Earlier this week, the western side of Prince William County received a line of strong thunderstorms with heavy rainfall. These storms taxed the Fire and Rescue System, but luckily, the Nokesville Volunteer Fire Department had 5 professional volunteers ready to respond on Truck Company 25!

🔥 Truck Company 25 was extremely busy answering numerous calls for service from reports of downed trees to multiple structure fires.

🔔 Early yesterday morning, Nokesville Volunteer Fire Department’s Canteen Unit was dispatched to assist with a second alarm assignment for an apartment fire in the 12700 Block of Ripple Creek Court in Woodbridge. Canteen 525 operated from approximately 2:45am-7:15am.

Earlier last week, the Nokesville Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department partnered with the Central Virginia Burn Camp for a fire station visit. The campers were able to tour the firehouse and apparatus, and had lunch generously donated by Mission BBQ Gainesville! The CVBC campers and chaperones, as well as the NVFD and PWCFRS staff had a blast, and are thankful for the opportunity!
