BBFD and WHPFD responded to car vs pole with wires down on North Road between Melrose and Wells Rds. Occupant of the vehicle was not injured. The road between Melrose Rd and Wells Rd is currently closed, and will remain closed for some time until a new pole can be installed and the wires moved from the road. Please us an alternate route as this may take the good portion of the day to repair.

BBFD and WHPFD currently operating at a second incident in the area of 146 Depot St. with a large tree branch down across the road involving power lines. Eversource Electric has been notified and we are standing by for their arrival. Depot St between East Rd and Perri Ln is currently impassable, please avoid the area and use alternate route if possible.

BBFD and WHPFD currently operating at a single car MVA vs pole with an active vegetation fire on Scantic Road in the area of 162. Road will be closed for an extended period did time until repairs are made. The road is closed between Cemetery Re and Woolam Rd . Standing by for Eversource Electric to respond and secure the power.

BBFD and WHPFD on scene with a large tree that came down on Ellsworth Rd between Allen Dr and Omelia Rd. Use an alternate route as there are live wires down and the street is totally impassable.
