Thursday Yoga
July 25, 2024 at 6:00 pm

Join Lure to Yoga the last Thursday of each month in a beginner friendly yoga practice. All experience levels are welcome. While the library has a small amount of yoga mats available for use we strongly encourage you to bring your own yoga mat, water and towel for modifications.

Stay for the play production and the post-production Q & A session. It's a family friendly show and children are encouraged to be accompanied by their caregivers or an adult if they are under age 12.

Responding to an Opioid Overdose
July 20, 2024 at 10:30 am - 12:00 pm

Meet experts on the Opioid Epidemic as they describe the statistics surrounding opioid use, emerging trends, how to respond to an opioid overdose, and how to use life-saving nasal naloxone. University of IL Extension has also partnered with the Cook County Department of Public Health to provide FREE Naloxone to be given out at the end of each training!

Celebrate this year’s Summer Reading theme, Read, Renew, Repeat with a fun and eco-friendly craft! We will create beautiful floral centerpieces out of old books that need to be recycled.
