Mayor Katrina Thompson invites you and your family to join the Village of Broadview as we celebrate our 6th Annual Juneteenth Celebration on Saturday, June 20 and Sunday, June 21, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Come together with friends, neighbors, and visitors as we honor freedom, celebrate 100 Years of Black Excellence, recognize the legacy of Dr. Carter G. Woodson, and enjoy a weekend filled with music, entertainment, culture, food, youth entrepreneurship, and community pride.

The 17th Annual Juneteenth Family Pool Party is happening tomorrow! 🎉🏊

Join friends, neighbors, and families from across the community for an evening of celebration, connection, and fun at the Forest Park Aquatic Center. Forest Park established this tradition in 2009 to introduce Juneteenth to children and families living in Proviso and the surrounding communities, and we are proud to continue it each year.
