Joyce Asack Ward 6 School Committee

Joyce Asack Ward 6 School Committee Joyce is a lifelong resident of Brockton, raised in a working class family. Her mother and father immigrated to the United States from Lebanon in 1978.

A first-generation American, Joyce brings first-hand understanding of the immigrant experience. Joyce has made both her life and her living in Brockton. She graduated from Brockton High School and earned a degree in bachelors of science and paralegal studies. She has continued to work over 20 years as a paralegal most recently working with attorney John Mccluskey office and estate planning. Joyce

has worked as a realtor at Jack Conway & Co at both the Brockton and Abington locations. Most recently she joined Remax synergy in March of 2017. Joyce serves on many subcommittees as a current committee member. She serves on the accounts review, facilities, building naming, policy, and finance. Joyce advocates for all the students of Brockton and her two schools Ashfeild and Brookfeild. She has profound investments in the future of the City of Brockton and the school system.

I wanted to take a moment to reach out and share my thoughts about missing last night’s NAACP School Committee Debate. Connecting with all of you is incredibly important to me, and I genuinely value every opportunity to discuss the future of our community and our students.

As many of you know, I was out of state for a work conference that had been on my calendar since March. I truly regret not being able to engage with you all in person during such an important event.

I want to assure you that my commitment to transparency, collaboration, and service to our community remains as strong as ever. I deeply care about the success of our schools, our educators, and most importantly, our students.
