We are also recognizing our employees and their years dedicated to educating and assisting our students! So, congratulations to our students receiving the citizenship award for August,super reader, Deania Allen for 9 years of service and Ronnica Brown for 20 years of service. There are two sizes available: 50 x 60 $30 and 60 x 70 $40. If you want to see one and feel how soft they are, stop by the Elementary Office. You can order from any of the Battiest cheerleaders or by calling the Elementary Office. Orders are due by September 25th so we can get them back in time for Christmas!

Kylah Mattox hit 20 AR points this week! In 3rd grade when you get 20 points, you get to make your own soda. Kylah chose Sprite with blue raspberry syrup and blue raspberry gummy rings! Congratulations Kylah for being the first student to earn this!

Third grade has had a great week! We finished reading How to Eat Fried Worms and watched the movie while eating Dirt Cups full of worms! We also compared gummy worms to real worms! Some of the older kids even got in on the worm fun!
