We are thrilled to let you know that we are planning to re-energize our explorer program, take new members, and we are planning some great activities and training after the new year!

Due to the recent increase of cases involving a virus, we must suspend the meetings for Explorer Post 939 until further notice. We will post updates when we are able to resume the meetings! Stay safe y’all hope to see y’all soon!

Big shout out to our Explorer Post 939 kids! They really stepped up, worked hard, and handled the parking of cars at the Watermelon Festival like pros! It was very hot and humid, but they didn't complain one time! They got in there and got the job done. That's what we like to see.. Outstanding job, Explorers!

Do you want to have fun, make some new friends, and learn about police work by the outstanding folks at the Levy County Sheriffs office? Give us a holler!! We are now accepting young ladies and young men 14-21 years old.

The Levy County Sheriff's Explorers Post 939 would like to warmly welcome Deputy T.J. Miller as a new Explorer post advisor.
Dep. Miller came to us after serving as an officer with the Clearwater Police Department for 24 years and has a wealth of information and experience to impart on our Explorers. Dep. Miller was a Field Training Officer, has a plethora of Law Enforcement certifications, and has the desire to pass on his knowledge to the next generation of Law Enforcement professionals.
Please help us welcome Deputy Miller to our post. I know he is looking forward to working with our terrific kids.
