We're excited to announce that we already have **66 registered children and counting** participating in our *Unearth a Story* Summer Reading Program. If you haven't signed up yet, there's still plenty of time to join the fun!

Don't forget that summer reading is more than just your weekly program.

Families are invited to dig into discovery at Earth Explorers in Newton County on June 16th at 11:30 a.m. at McKinley Park. This free, family-friendly program will explore the soil beneath our feet and uncover what makes Newton County’s landscape unique.

Participants will learn about local soil, what can be found underground, and how fossils help tell the story of the past. Kids will also enjoy a hands-on activity where they create their own fossil to take home.

This engaging program is presented in partnership with the Newton County Soil & Water Conservation District and is perfect for curious young explorers and their families. For more information, contact the Brook Public Library at 219-275-2471 or visit brook.lib.in.us.

Hello Friends and Followers of the Office.

We, here at the Office, want you to know that you are totally awesome and with your support we have placed so many Mental Health Awareness/Su***de Prevention benches around the county. Without your help and support this would never have been possible.

Like all good things this has to come to an end.....

Please continue to recycle all your plastics and if there is someone that would like to take this project over please reach out.

Do not forget the Su***de Prevention Walk/Run/Stroll this September.......
