The BCHS PTO Scholarship is awarded to a student active in the school community with a recognized passion for school service. This student embodies these criteria. She earned varsity letters in Swim & Dive and is a member of Elmbrook Swim Club. She is involved in many aspects of Brookfield Central’s music program and participates in the Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra’s Jazz Studies program. As co-president of the Environmental Club she organizes the removal of invasive plant species and river clean-up while advocating for school environmental awareness. As a member of Hope Squad, she supports her peers and their mental health. Her leadership reflects a passion that was sparked at a young age through an unexpected introduction to philosophy. What began as curiosity about a scene from The Good Place grew into a deep intellectual pursuit, guided by conversations with her father. Philosophy has become a lens through which she views the world. She embraces the idea that not all questions have clear answers, finding purpose in the pursuit of knowledge itself. She will further her studies as a Philosophy and Biology Major at University of Notre Dame in the Fall. Congratulations to Elizabeth Feist.
