My Congressman is retiring this year after 24 years in Congress. The Republican nominee for his position is running on one thing — yes, one single thing: His utter submission to Trump. His undying loyalty to Trump. His fealty to Trump. His promise to kiss the ring and abandon my neighbors.

On the other hand, he has a Democratic opponent…Josh Smead for Missouri. Josh talks about funding public schools. Finding solutions to the rural healthcare crisis. Fixing roads. Defending the Constitution and our rights. Ending an illegal war. Fighting for workers.

Fighting for all of us.

I know who I’m supporting, and I have no idea why anyone in my district would support a Trump lackey who is promising nothing but more of the same spineless “representation” we have had for over two decades.

Don’t forget about getting tickets to sell for our whole hog raffle. You can pick them up at Kauzlarich Real Estate in Brookfield. Money needs to be turned in by August 20th. We have a Linn County Democrats meeting that night. We will be distributing the money to Democratic candidates very soon. Please help support these candidates by selling or purchasing raffle tickets. THANK YOU for your vote of confidence in me to be your next Missouri State Auditor. We won the primary with nearly 68% of the vote. With the massive defeats of Amendments 4 and 5 we have the tailwinds at our back!
