I’m excited to share that after a closely contested election, we have emerged victorious, with the unofficial results showing a narrow win by just over 100 votes. This achievement is not just mine but a collective success that speaks volumes of our shared commitment to Brookfield’s future.

A sincere thank you to everyone who contributed their time, effort, and belief in this campaign. Your support has been the backbone of our journey, and I am deeply grateful for it.

I would also like to acknowledge my opponent for a respectful and competitive campaign. It was a tight race that highlighted our community’s diverse perspectives and commitment to engagement. I look forward to finding common ground and working collaboratively towards the welfare of our community.

While some conversations have taken a confrontational tone based on assumptions not voiced by me, they underscore the importance of clear, open dialogue about Brookfield's direction.

It's crucial we address and clarify these misunderstandings. My focus remains on exploring diverse housing options and finding solutions to our budget shortfall ($2-$7 million over the next 5 years).

I’ve noticed that a sample ballot circulated by WisRed does not include my name in the “Brookfield Alderperson District 7” race, despite my active candidacy. While this omission might not reflect the full scope of choices available to our voters, I am committed to ensuring that you have all the information you need to make an informed decision.

Transparency and accurate information are the cornerstones of a healthy democracy. Let’s continue to share and celebrate every aspect of our electoral process, even when faced with challenges.

Snow or shine, nothing could stop me from performing my civic duty! I just did early voting at City Hall - and guess what? It was a breeze: in and out in just 15 minutes!
