The PEP party has worked diligently to bring responsible, trustworthy individuals forward to guide our village because we know it’s about getting things done and keeping Brookfield moving forward. ewpoints, different backgrounds to the table….all brought together by the belief that a commitment to professional, ethical leadership, guided by a fiscally responsible, long-term approach, will be our best guide in taking advantage of the great opportunities in front of us.

Great times at 8 corners this week! Yesterday was a ribbon cutting for the new owners of the still family-owned Mama Barone’s. Thank you for continuing to serve Brookfield your awesome pizza!
And today we met with some friendly folks from the county who administer the grant program. We were able to have great conversations about the incubator program and the wonderful $100,000 placemaking grant that will help us to bring even more vibrancy and community to the Shops at Progress Park and 8 corners!

What an amazing night for Brookfield! Our first Music on Grand since our construction there this summer. A $5 million project to repave, update sidewalks, install more trees in structural soil, and update lighting, as well as the beautiful seat wall that protects pedestrians at that corner- and we brought in $4 million of it in grants. I’m very proud we were able to design, plan, and bring these improvements to our business district, and my heart swelled to see so many people enjoying it last night.
