🚨🚨🚨 10/10/26 Motor Vehicle Accident

BROOKFIELD FIRE/EMS responded to a single-vehicle accident involving a vehicle that struck a parked vehicle and came to rest on its roof.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported at the scene.

Today, Brookfield Fire Department units were dispatched to a reported structure fire on Stewart Sharon Road.

First-arriving units arrived approximately five minutes after the initial dispatch. Ch. 18 arrived on scene and confirmed a working structure fire. Prior to the arrival of Ladder 18, the resident was able to extinguish the majority of the fire using a garden hose.

Fire crews conducted a thorough assessment of the structure and checked for remaining hot spots and potential fire extension into the residence. The incident was brought under control without further fire spread. No injuries were reported to firefighters or civilians.

Starts tomorrow through the end of November

If you recall from recent posts, we had members participate earlier in the summer performing hose line advancement and search techniques. Crews were able to train along side other local departments and experience a structure that we don’t see in our area. Very informative and eye opening.

Thanks to McDonald Fire Department and Chief Marcum for allowing us to come out to train with your department and mutual aid crews!
