This Saturday, November 21 is Frankies 1-year anniversary but more importantly they are hosting a canned good food drive for the local food bank. They are asking customers to bring in 1 canned good per order (not per hotdog) and, for the day, they are offering $1 foot-long hotdogs & $1.75 foot-long specialty dogs.
Thank you

JJ Stacks, 537 Federal Road, celebrated the opening of their restaurant on October 7. Co-owner Joe Attonito, Bethel, who has been a restaurateur for 28 years is excited to be opening his second restaurant, specializing in triple stacked burgers. Joe commented that he appreciates all the support he has received from Brookfield and plans on supporting the community, saying “we have already hosted Charity Halos for Healthcare fundraiser and have another event planned with a local PTO on October 12; we’d love to partner with other charities and host other special events”.
Frankies of Brookfield celebrated the opening of their newest restaurant, located at 270 Federal Road on September 26. “We are very excited for our family to join this family in Brookfield. We have been serving hot dogs since 1937 and look forward to serving Brookfield for generations to come”, said co-owner Tom Martelli. After the ribbon cutting doors opened to waiting customers, including Pat McGowan, Danbury, “Frankies never disappoints, there staff is amazing and we’re glad they are here”.
Branson’s $49 million new global HQ located in Brookfield’s Berkshire Industrial Park is on schedule for occupancy in January 2021. Their parent company, Emerson, said they are very impressed with Brookfield’s business environment and wanted a location that would help keep employees’ commute about the same time and allow them to retain existing talent. Pictures below show the status of the construction site and artist’s rendition of the completed project.
Brookfield's EDC supports this food drive and hopes you participate by making a donation.

The 11 newly planted trees are growing nicely along the sidewalk that was constructed last fall in the TCD. These species were selected because of their drought resistance. More than 140 trees and shrubs will be planted next summer as part of the Streetscape Phase 3 project.
