The Compassionate Friends/East Suburban Chapter Welcome to The East Suburban Chapter of The Compassionate Friends TCF has no religious affiliation, and no individual membership fees or dues are charged.

The East Suburban Chapter is a chartered chapter of the Compassionate Friends/USA, a national nonprofit, self-help organization offering friendship, understanding, and hope to families grieving the death of a child of any age, from any cause. All adult bereaved family members are welcome. TCF was founded in England in 1969 and was established in the US in 1972, with 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corpor

ation in 1978, under which provision the organization's more than 630 local chapters also operate.TCF operates as separate entities in at least 30 countries around the world. The East Suburban Chapter was established in 2009 and meets twice a month in Brookfield, IL.

This St. Baldrick's Foundation event is raising money for childhood cancer research by shaving heads! Whether you decide to shave your head, volunteer, or donate, we hope you'll be a part of the excitement.

It is that time of the year once again to start planning our National Candle Lighting for December. I am looking for volunteers to help read poems, help with programs, side show and flowers. If you are not able to attend donations are always appreciated. If you would like to have your child's photo in the slide show please send it to me no later than 11/18/17. I am looking for a group of bereaved moms and a good weekend to spend time in WI. Everything is paid for just bring yourself and snacks or drinks to share. I normally run this camp in September, however I'm looking at November or December this year. Please message me if your interested.
