Linn County Senate Bill 40 Serving Individuals with Developmental Disabilities since 1991 Linn County Senate Bill 40 provides services to the Developmentally Delayed in Linn Co., Mo.

We include public services such as a thrift shop, car detailing crew, lawn mowing, a greenhouse and gardens in season, a craft shop, as well as provide training and outside employment support for our consumers. We employ two Support Coordinators in conjunction with Kirksville Regional Center

🍽️ Today our SB40 group enjoyed a delicious lunch at Danno's in Linneus!

The food was wonderful, the service was great, and everyone had a fantastic time. In fact, before we even left, we were already talking about when we could schedule another visit!

Thank you to the staff at Danno's for making us feel so welcome. We look forward to coming back again soon! 😊

Today our SB40 group had the opportunity to visit the Linn County Food Pantry and learn from Deb Scott about the incredible work being done in our community.

We were amazed to learn that the food pantry serves over 500 individuals each month right here in Linn County. What a blessing it is to have such a valuable resource available for families and individuals in need.

Despite operating in a relatively small space, the pantry is able to efficiently manage and distribute a large amount of food to those they serve. We also learned about the donation process, volunteer opportunities, and the many ways community members can help support this important mission.

Thank you, Deb, for taking the time to share your knowledge and for all you do to make a difference in our community. We appreciate the opportunity to learn more about the impact of the Linn County Food Pantry!

📢 Lunch Location Change for SB40 📢

The Family Restaurant will not be open this week, so we will be heading to Danno's in Linneus for lunch on Tuesday!

🍗 Tuesday Special: Chicken Strips
🍟 Served with fries, Texas toast, and white gravy
💲 Lunch specials are $11.99 and include tea or lemonade.

SB40 had a wonderful visit to the Linn County Courthouse today! We learned about how the courthouse operates, explored the courtroom, and even got to watch a mock trial. ⚖️
It was such a fun and educational experience for everyone. Thank you to everyone at the courthouse for taking the time to welcome our group and teach us more about the judicial system and our community! ❤️

Sunshine, dirt, laughter, and sweet memories at SB40! 🌱
Today we spent time planting zinnias, pulling weeds, picking and enjoying a few fresh strawberries, making sweet tea, and even operating the tiller with Byron’s help!
There’s just something special about getting our hands dirty, learning new skills, and enjoying the simple things together.

Yesterday SB40 had an amazing trip to the Steamboat Arabia Museum in Kansas City! 🚢⚓
Our group had so much fun exploring history and seeing artifacts recovered from the steamboat that sank in the Missouri River over 150 years ago. It was incredible to learn how everyday items from the 1800s were preserved and brought back to life.
We also enjoyed spending time together, asking questions, learning new things, and making memories along the way. Thank you to the wonderful staff at the museum for being so welcoming and informative during our visit!
If you’ve never been to the Steamboat Arabia Museum, we definitely recommend adding it to your list! 😊
