Earlier this month, members of HPD's Environmental Review Team attended an Archaeology Day event at Fort Frederica National Monument, where they hosted activities and informed the public about HPD's work to ensure compliance with historic preservation laws on federal government projects. Attendees participated in a Junior Archaeologist Scavenger Hunt and interacted with a Stratigraphy Board to lean about archaeology amid different rock layers.
