Brookhaven Fire Company would like to extend our sincere thanks to Lowe’s Home Improvement in Brookhaven for their generous donation of a new Blackstone griddle.

For the past 10 years, Lowe’s and Brookhaven Fire Company have shared a strong partnership built around supporting our community. The griddle will be put to great use preparing meals for our members while staffing the station, especially during assigned Duty Engine shifts.

Tonight, after returning from the motor vehicle accident, Brookhaven Fire Company members trained with our Hurst E-Draulic rescue tools, practicing a variety of vehicle extrication scenarios. At exactly 6:00 PM, Brookhaven Fire Company responded to a motor vehicle accident on Rt. 352/Edgmont Ave. Thankfully, no injuries were reported.

Crews assisted with a fluid spill and secured the area after a fire hydrant was knocked off as a result of the accident. All lanes have since reopened.

A BIG DAY FOR ONE OF OUR OWN!

Today, on his 18th birthday, Marquise Waller officially earned his Black Shield!

Marquise has spent the last 4 years as a member of the Brookhaven Fire Co. Junior Firefighter Program, putting in the time, training, and dedication to prepare for this moment. Along the way, he has also earned his Firefighter I & II Pro Board certifications.

We’re proud to watch him make the transition from Junior Firefighter to the next chapter of his fire service career.
