I need some feed back on when would be a good time to meet at the old house this year.. March is approaching fast as that's when we met last year, on the last weekend in March, Tinys birthday the 28th I believe...is that a good time to meet again or do we wanna discuss a different time and date? Im ok with same time but majority rules ...yall think and talk about it and let me kno here so we can all be on the same page...power and water is on so all we gotta do is show up!

Today makes 11 years sinc3 I crawled around that old trailer on hands and knees cutting my way into a generation of memories...
None of it has been easy! 11 years of sacrifices, yet all of it has brought me joy and happiness, not to mention the many skills I've gained along the way...
I remember 11 years ago, where I was and what I was doing, I needed new direction in my life and God paved the way and led me there and thats the bottom line...he put me to the test and wouldn't have if he knew I couldn't handle it...
As old memories merged with new, I quickly figured out, this was a once in a lifetime opportunity, it was now or never, 11 years later, I wouldn't change a thing...I love you all..happy holidays and hope to see yall soon!

Saturday March 29th 2025, what a day it was!!
The rain held off for an unforgettable time and visit with everyone! I had never cooked so much food at one time and i thoroughly enjoyed it and it made my heart happy....thanks to all that came and contributed, it was a blessing, and for the ones that couldn't make it, it's ok, I hope to see yall next time...
Remember, that old place is alive and we do this in remembrance of my aunt tiny...I love you all and kno she is looking down tickled about it...stay humble now..

Looks like some rain In the forecast this weekend but that's not gonna stop us as we have plenty of covered porch to take shelter! Hear the rain on the tin roof! Be careful in route and looking forward to seeing everyone that can make it..

Spring time is near.... mark ur Calendar, Saturday March 29, 2025... in memory of aunt tiny, we meet again with family and close friends at the old wooden house on nola rd...

I'll be there Thursday evening and preparing for the shin dig..anyone arriving before Saturday and staying the night, get with me so we can plan accordingly...looking forward to seeing everyone, love you all..

Hard to believe, Today makes 10 years since I found it all broken...no one to blame, just a good example of how life takes its toll...it's been an awesome journey and this place has taught me more than any school book could have ever..
In th3 beginning, 27 yesrs old, I knew I would only get 1 chance, but how, with only a few dollars to my name and bills that never stop, as I tri3d to talk myself out of it, so did others, as it wasn't worth it, or was it? It didn't take me long to figure it out, that this is where I was supposed to be, doing what I was supposed to be doing...
I do believe without the lord looking over me and this place, leading the way, it would of crumbled some time ago...it's a special place without a doubt, kind of like a small piece of heaven, that my great grandfather acquired over 100 years ago...
I'll never expect anyone to quite understand what this place means to me, and how or why, just kno this, I did it for my family, dead Ken folks and alive, our history and our heritage is here and the roots go deep..
Happy holidays, I love you all...
