Pennsylvania’s “Paul Miller’s Law” will take effect starting June 6, 2026. This law is a primary offense and drivers can be stopped solely for using a hand-held device. That even includes if you’re stopped at a red light.

The Brookhaven Police are committed to keeping our roads safe, so please put down the phone. Distracted driving is dangerous driving.

Be advised there is a scheduled 5k run going to be taking place in the area of Coebourn Elementary and the surrounding neighborhoods at 9am. While streets will remain open, be cautious of heavy pedestrian traffic. Thank you.

Tickets are $10 and be purchased at the Brookhaven Police Department or any Delaware County Police or Fire Department. Tickets can also be purchased the night of the game at the gate.

This achievement reflects our continued commitment to professionalism, accountability, and excellence in serving our community. Re-accreditation is a rigorous process that ensures our policies, procedures, and operations meet the highest standards in law enforcement.

We thank our officers and staff for their hard work and dedication, and we are grateful to the community for their ongoing support and trust. Our department is thankful for Mayor Giancroce and the entire Council for all their support.
