Congratulations are in order for the Upland Fire Company who graduated the First Due Tactical Considerations for Engine and Truck Company Ops. Students reviewed the academics of Engine and Truck Companies and applied their knowledge to several target hazard occupancies in their Borough including banquet halls, strip malls and rowhomes during tabletop exercises. Upland FC, station 57, is a returning customer of Second Alarm Consultants. Thanks to Borough Fire Marshal Dan Smith for setting up the program.

Our LLC recently graduated students from the Delaware County Technical School from our Fire Dynamics Course series. Students received curriculum and content in subject areas of Fire Dynamics, Building Construction Dynamics and both Engine and Truck company Operations. We are a registered contractor with the DCTS and hope to continue our educational relationship with their institution in the future. Keep those course requests coming in. New Customer Alert - Congratulations are in order to the 14 members of the Elkins Park Fire Company (Cheltenham Township) for completing the Squad Company Operations Awareness Program on Tuesday night. Students learned the tactical assignments of Engine and Truck Company Ops, General Rescue Size-Up, Tool limitations, Hydraulic rescue tools, air bags and stabilization. The course goal was to have the students perform to the limitations of their equipment and training on situations they may face in Cheltenham Township. Thx to Lt Ran Frazier for being the point of contact for the class.

Returning Customer Recognition Part 3. Last night, 12 students of the Penn Wynne Fire Company - Station 21 - Lower Merion Twp - graduated the Top Ten Things you need to Know About RIT class. An interactive 3 hour seminar was presented on updated academia concerning RIT science, new ideas and equipment and training concepts. This was the third LLC offering that Penn Wynne Fire Company - Station 21has hosted this semester. We'll check our statistics but there's either a tie with Centre Square Fire Company for the most LLC hosted classes or Penn Wynne has one up on them. That being said, an anonymous source was quoted as saying "Yo Centre Square - You're Up" 🧐😄😁. As always we appreciate your business.

Returning customer recognition Part 2 - Congratulations to the Centre Square Fire Company (WhitpainTwp) and their 24 members who are recent graduates of the Tactical Considerations for first due Truck and Squad Companies class. Material was presented on apparatus styles, capabilities and types, the role of the Squad in doing truck work, tactical priorities, equipment needs, Squad "Mentality" and fireground factors. Students finished the second night with Tabletop Exercises based on three (3) Target Hazards in their first due local. Special thanks to Deputy Chief Messerschmidt for coordinating the class and needed logistics. We appreciate your training commitment to Second Alarm Consultants.

NOT just Fire Departments. Recently, Second Alarm Consultants completed Emergency Scene Incident Management Training for the Veranova Corporation located in West Deptford, NJ. Through a reference from one of our valued customers, A fire service based program was amended to meet the needs of the audience of Veranova's emergency response team. Supervisors were instructed in the areas of Unity of Command, Command presence, Span of Control, Expansion of the ICS and similar learning objectives.
