Life happens to counselors too. I want to thank all my clients for your support, patience and understanding a I adjusted to loss and life changes, helped my support my besties as they fight for their lives, and tended to my healing and recovery so I can support you while being fully present.

I'm back Monday and have s full schedule!

I still have an intern, but she has a reduced client load as she prepares for counseling exams in July.

This is Piper, Melissa's therapy dog. It's hard work helping clients ground themselves and feel supported and as you can imagine, it tires a pup out.

Sometimes she needs a nap and will often dream. No worries though, I'm sure she's chasing the bunny the lives on along side the office building!

If we all sleep like Piper, we would be so much more rested! 💤 😴 💤
