As many of you have likely heard, Community Resource Officer Gabby Dominguez and her wife Sara were involved in a serious vehicle accident just south of Coos Bay on Wednesday, February 17th. Gabby sustained significant injuries and was transported out of Coos County for medical care, which is expected to be extensive. Sara was also injured but thankfully to a lesser degree. We want to thank the community for all of your support during this difficult time. There is a Go Fund Me set up if anyone would like to donate as they will have a long road to recovery.💙💛❤️

On November 1st, we hosted our free Women’s Self-Defense class at the Brookings Police Department. We want to thank everyone who joined us!

Our Defensive Tactics instructors spent the morning teaching hands-on tools for situational awareness and physical defense. It was an honor to help empower the women in our community with practical techniques to stay safe and prepared.

🚔👀Property Watch is a community partnership that helps owners of commercial properties, businesses, and apartment complexes reduce unwanted activity after hours or when the owner or manager is not available. Without clear permission from the property owner or management, officers often cannot address nuisance issues or certain crimes, such as trespassing.
With Property Watch, property owners and managers can sign an agreement with our department that lets officers act on their behalf when they are not there. We encourage business owners & managers to sign up even if the property owner has already signed up. The program is free and must be renewed each year.
