Take time today to reflect on the ultimate sacrifice Jesus made for us, and the path to redemption he gave us!
Isaiah 53:5
But he was pierced for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his wounds we are healed.
On this solemn Good Friday, we pause to remember the ultimate sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross — a day of reflection, repentance, and profound gratitude for the gift of redemption and eternal hope. 🙏✝️
As South Dakota Republicans, we proudly affirm that our rights and liberties come from God, not government. Our state motto declares “Under God, the People Rule,” and our South Dakota Constitution clearly protects the right to worship God according to the dictates of conscience, a freedom that shall never be infringed.
Today, we give thanks for the Judeo-Christian values that form the bedrock of our nation’s strength, our personal responsibility, and our commitment to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. These timeless principles guide our work to preserve our Constitutional Republic and defend religious freedom for all South Dakotans.
May this Good Friday draw us closer to faith, family, and the values that make South Dakota strong. Wishing peace and blessings to you and yours as we prepare our hearts for the joy of Easter Sunday.
God bless you, God bless South Dakota, and God bless the United States of America. 🇺🇸❤️
