Brookland High School Student Council attended the Arkansas Association of Student Councils (AASC) State Conference in Texarkana over the weekend. During the conference, Student Council President Ella Kate Thompson was recognized for her service as AASC State Reporter for the 2024–2025 school year.
Our Council earned the highest distinction awarded at the state level and was honored with membership in the AASC Diamond Club. Mr. Tyler Golden was also recognized as the AASC Administrator of the Year—an award he received after being nominated by the Brookland High School Student Council and selected by the AASC Executive Board and state officer students. Additionally, Ms. Anna Grayson was elected to serve a four-year term on the AASC Executive Board.
BHS StuCo members also competed in project categories and won first place in both Fundraising and School Spirit, with presentations by Sara Grace Taylor and Ella Kate Thompson.
Congratulations to these outstanding students and staff members for their incredible achievements and dedication!
