🚩 🏈 SEBHS FLAG FOOTBALL 🚩 🏈

Southeast Bulloch is pleased to announce that Curtis Bruer has been named the Southeast Bulloch Flag Football head coach. Coach Bruer begins his 14th year overall in coaching, bringing a strong background in player development and offensive strategy. Known for his passion for the game and dedication to athlete growth, Coach Bruer is committed to helping student-athletes maximize their athletic potential while building discipline, accountability, and teamwork both on and off the field.

Coach Bruer graduated from the University of North Florida in 2004 with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. During his time at UNF, he played several years of intramural flag football and continued competing in recreational leagues throughout Jacksonville, Florida.

His coaching career began in youth flag football in Atlantic Beach, Florida, where he led teams to three league championships. In 2025, Coach Bruer coached flag football for Bulloch County Recreation, finishing the season with the league’s best overall record. In 2026, he was named Head Coach of the Langston Chapel Middle School's inaugural Flag Football Team.

Coach Bruer looks forward to building and continuing the competitive and disciplined program at Southeast Bulloch High School while creating an environment where student-athletes can succeed in athletics, academics, and life.

⚾️ SEBHS BASEBALL ⚾️

Southeast Bulloch High School would like to send a huge thank you to Coach Brandon Peterson for his 17 years of service as the head baseball coach. During that time, Coach "Pete" won 253 games, made 13 playoff appearances, and won 4 region championships. He was also selected as the Region Coach of the Year 4 times. Southeast Bulloch will forever be grateful for his service to our baseball program and the players.

We are excited to announce that in the upcoming season, our CTAE Heavy Equipment Instructor, Chris Bishop will be stepping into the head coach position for SEB baseball. Coach Bishop has 18 years of head coach experience amassing over 300 wins with 18 playoff appearances. Coach Bishop's philosophy focuses on offensive aggression, defensive fundamentals, and self-discipline. He believes that his role is to provide the student athletes opportunities for them to be the best version of themselves in the community, the classroom, and on the athletic field.

Congratulations to our Southeast Bulloch High School Teacher of the Year, Diana Johnson, and our Support Staff Member of the Year, Sandra Bazemore!

We were proud to recognize these two outstanding individuals this morning during our faculty breakfast on the last day of school. Mrs. Johnson’s dedication to her students and passion for teaching math make a lasting impact each day.

Ms. Bazemore, one of our dedicated paraprofessionals, greets students and staff each day with kindness and positivity while working tirelessly to support and encourage our students. Her impact on our school community is truly appreciated.
