Celebrating excellence at SEBMS!

We are proud to recognize our incredible Teachers of Excellence—staff members who go above and beyond to make our school a true Place of Possibility!

We proudly recognize Ms. Bohannon, a sixth grade Social Studies teacher, with the Taylor Cup for being a dedicated teammate and one of the hardest workers around. Her passion for teaching shines through in the meaningful relationships she builds with students—creating a space where everyone feels seen, supported, and inspired to learn!

Our SEBMS family recently came together to celebrate three very special retirements — Mr. Davis, Ms. Futch, and Ms. Voiselle!
All were recognized with flowers and a crystal plaque to honor their many years of commitment and care. Colleagues shared meaningful memories and kind words, highlighting the incredible difference they’ve made in the lives of students and staff throughout the years.

All three have spent many years working in education and serving our community. Mr. Davis and Ms. Futch have been at SEBMS since the building opened and Ms. Voiselle spent time at SEBMS and a feeder school.

Mr. Daniel will be missed for the care, pride, and heart he has poured into our building every single day. Ms Futch an incredible social studies teacher and yearbook advisor impacted others far beyond the classroom by the inspiration, wisdom, and care she has shared over the years. Ms. Voiselle has been an excellent assistant principal and teacher, serving as a mentor, encourager, and steady support for so many.

We are beyond grateful for the legacy they leave behind and wish them all the best in this exciting new season!

SEBMS End-of-Year Staff Celebration 🎉

We wrapped up the year by honoring the incredible staff of SEBMS!

Team members beginning new journeys were recognized with a meaningful keepsake, our “Once a Jacket, Always a Jacket” trophy. It was a small reminder that they’ll forever be part of this family.

We also proudly celebrated our Taylor Cup recipients for this school year for their outstanding commitment, leadership, service, and care for our school community.

Our Staff Superlatives added a fun touch as we cheered on those who made a lasting impression this year — in big ways and small!

To our entire SEBMS team: thank you for the passion, energy, and dedication you bring every single day. You made this year truly special!

That’s a wrap on another incredible year at SEBMS!

We closed out the year with one of our favorite traditions as staff lined up to wave goodbye and cheer on our students as they headed into summer.

What a year it’s been! Full of growth, achievements, and moments we’ll never forget. We are so proud of our students and grateful for our school community.
